Jeeps are known for their ruggedness and off-road capabilities, so it’s no surprise that these vehicles make great choices for people looking to venture into the wilderness or explore their backcountry. If you’re in the market for a new Jeep, check out our list of the best jeeps in the world below. We analyzed what customers are saying about each model, and then we checked out reviews from top industry publications like Car and Driver and What Car?
5 Best Jeeps for off-roading
Let’s face it: four-wheel-drive vehicles are fun to drive. That’s why off-roading is so popular. But there’s no point paying big bucks for a 4x4 unless you get some use out of it. Here are five of our favorite all-terrain rides... and we don’t mean station wagons. For example, if you want something rugged and sporty, then Jeep's Wrangler Rubicon should be at or near the top of your list; but if utility is more important than sheer horsepower, then Land Rover's Range Rover Sport HSE could be right up your alley. And if you just want to have a blast on any terrain, go with Ford's F-150 SVT Raptor - it will leave even hardcore sports cars gasping for breath. Whatever your needs may be, these 5 Best Jeeps can help make them come true. (And hey, if you like driving stick shift as much as we do, there’s good news: every one of these machines has an automatic transmission.)
4 Luxury Jeep Models
While these aren’t considered as luxurious as SUVs, they come pretty close. With features like leather interiors, alloy wheels, and power seats, you’ll be sitting high above everyone else on the road while enjoying all of your favorite features. This luxury vehicle is perfect for those who need extra space but don’t necessarily want to drive an SUV. You can even choose from a variety of colors and styles to find just what you’re looking for. 3 Affordable Jeep models
Chrysler Wrangler ($18,000-$35,000), Dodge Nitro ($15,500-$25,500), Jeep Patriot ($16,800-$20,500) Jeep has always been a brand that evokes power and adventure. Their vehicles are meant to take you wherever you want to go, whether it’s a cross-country road trip or an off-road excursion. If you want to own one of these iconic machines, you’ll need to be prepared for a few expenses. It’s not cheap owning a Jeep. But if you’re willing to pay a premium price for quality and performance, then there are plenty of affordable options out there. Here are three great models from Jeep that won’t break your bank account: 1. The 2012 Jeep Wrangler is by far their most popular model—and with good reason. Its 4-door design makes it more comfortable than ever before while still maintaining its ruggedness. And with available four-wheel drive, you can tackle any terrain with ease! 2. The 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee offers many of the same features as other luxury SUVs but at a much lower price point. You’ll get standard features like air conditioning, cruise control, keyless entry, and much more. 3. The 2011 Jeep Patriot offers everything you could want in an SUV without breaking your budget. With up to 31 mpg on highway trips and around 22 mpg in city driving conditions, it’s perfect for anyone who wants to save money on gas over time without sacrificing comfort or performance.
2 New Jeep SUV Models
Jeep has two new SUV models launching soon: Grand Cherokee and Renegade. These two SUVs are designed for family travel and off-road adventure. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of America’s most luxurious SUVs with a sleek design, comfortable seating, as well as advanced safety features to keep you protected on any road trip. If you like to explore every inch of dirt beneath your tires then the Jeep Renegade will be perfect for your next excursion. This rugged SUV can handle all types of terrain from muddy trails to rocky hillsides. You can even choose between three different engine options depending on how much power you need for your next outdoor adventure. Both vehicles are available at your local dealership now!
1 Compact Jeep SUVs
Let’s kick things off with three of my favorite Jeep vehicles that are under $20,000. I can’t personally attest to these being among the best because I don’t have firsthand experience with them (yet), but they come highly recommended from trusted sources! These SUVs offer a ton of versatility and sporty style: The 2018 Jeep Compass is available as a four-door SUV or five-door hatchback. It has a starting price of $18,995. Available features include automatic headlights, heated front seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, SiriusXM satellite radio, and an eight-speaker sound system. It comes standard with a 2.4L engine that produces 173 horsepower. The 2019 Jeep Cherokee starts at $24,495 for its base Sport trim level; it also comes in Latitude ($25,995) and Limited ($29,495) trims—all prices include destination fees.
Conclusion
This is a tough debate as there are some pretty strong contenders for the king of all cars out there. The Jeep Wrangler tops most lists, and rightly so: it’s rugged, agile, and has incredible off-road capability and reliability. It’s cheap on gas (as far as luxury SUVs go) and you can find an older model with timeless styling at a lower price point. Another contender is Toyota’s Land Cruiser FJ. It’s not quite as tough or capable off-road, but it makes up for that with its legendary reliability. With either one of these vehicles, you won’t be disappointed... unless you need to tow anything or carry more than four people regularly. If that sounds like your situation, check out Ford Expedition or Chevy Suburban. Otherwise, go ahead and get yourself a sweet ride!
