The Chiron is powered by a heavily revised version of Bugatti’s quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine, which produces 1,500 hp (1,118 kW) and 1,180 lb-ft (1,600 Nm) of torque from 2,000 to 6,000 pm. The engine is paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to all four wheels via a permanent all-wheel-drive system.
